Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team in Manawatu. The successful candidate will lead and manage construction projects from tender phase to completion, ensuring they meet or exceed time, cost, and quality targets in a safe work environment.
What you will enjoy doing Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting to achieve financial targets.Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance and managing risks.Drive procurement strategies and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.Champion health and safety policies, ensuring a safe work environment for all.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.Implement robust information management practices using Procore.Lead project governance processes and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.What you'll bring to the role10 years + of successfully managing projects of 10m+Experienced in New Zealand construction contracts such as 3910 and 3916.Experience managing construction teams, designers and forging strong customer relationships.Have previous experience of leading a bid team and providing detailed information to assist estimators.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.Excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills.Proven understanding of project management best practice, tools, techniques, market trends and product innovation.Critical thinking, analysis, problem solving and effective decision-making.About UsHiggins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
