The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our client's energetic Project Management Delivery: Infrastructure / Horizontal team in Wellington.
In this role, you will oversee projects, manage client relationships, and lead teams to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
You will also be instrumental in guiding and developing the team, providing clear direction, and fostering a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Lead and manage project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget whilst identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks to achieve successful outcomes.Engage with clients to understand their needs and objectives, maintaining strong relationships and implement project management plans tailored to clients' requirements.Prepare and present technical papers at industry events to showcase the company's expertise.Support business development efforts, including client meetings, proposal preparation, and tender submissions.Candidate Profile: Relevant tertiary qualifications in the industry.Experience managing infrastructure projects valued at $40 million or more.Roles in design management, team management, or team director, focusing on infrastructure projects.Desirable experience in water, road, or rail projects, and an established client network within the Wellington region and local councils.Excellent communication skills and strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing project financials and performance.Why Join This Team?
