Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide strong leadership to our Kia Rite team.
Our Kia Rite work involves the preparation of the collections and holdings within the Archives Wellington building for their eventual relocation into the new Archives building.
This includes working through a colossal 380,000 boxes, or 80km of linear shelf space.
The Senior Project Manager will ensure the successful management of Kia Rite projects, leading and coordinating your team, and communicating with institutional stakeholders and other project managers in the programme and the Te Ara Tahi Programme Management Office.
About you You will bring an extensive track record of delivering highly complex projects within agreed scope and budget.
You will be an experienced Project Manager with excellent relationship-building skills with a diverse range of people and roles.
You will possess leadership qualities and be comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Our programme actively embraces working in Tikanga / Te Ao Maori context, so it is important for you to demonstrate a high level of commitment to work in this context.
