Is it time for a challenge? Ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the success of complex projects from conception to completion.
This role is critical in helping us deliver on our goals, vision and purpose. You will ensure that our people and communities thrive in the years to come, through the successful delivery of projects and programmes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead multiple, complex projects with diverse teams to deliver results on time, within scope and on budgetIdentify and mitigate risks, resolve issues and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project alignment with goalsUndertake procurement of services, professional, design, supply and construction, in full compliance with policiesServe as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycleFoster a collaborative and inclusive project environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and open communicationAct as Engineer to Contract as requestedOversee and optimise project expenditures and resource allocation to ensure financial and operational efficiencyAbout YouTo be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
A Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering or related fieldA minimum of 7 years' experience in project management, managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teamsTraining and certification in project management protocolsWorking knowledge of project management best practice and methodologies, relevant legislation and regulationsExperience in effective management of a wide variety of projects and programmes, often in parallel, while maintaining a positive, results-oriented approachStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with contractors, consultants, the community, local iwi, elected members, and other internal and external stakeholdersExceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges with a proactive, solution-focused approachBroad and well-developed practical experience in project and cost management, including project administration, project planning and monitoring, risk and budget managementWhat We OfferOutside of work benefits, we also offer:

Hybrid working options can be discussed for this role although there is a requirement to be on site at least 3 days per week.
