With the global expertise gained from serving the environment for more than 150 years, Veolia operates in more than 40 countries around the world, with well over a hundred sites and approximately 4000 employees in Australia & New Zealand.We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who will provide technical support to Queenstown including capital projects, operational, process, compliance and technical advice.What's on offerPositive, inclusive, collaborative and innovative cultureContributing meaningfully to Veolia's Purpose of Ecological TransformationFlexible, family-friendly working arrangementsA high degree of autonomy to work on diverse technical initiativesWhat you'll be responsible forProject Management.Preparation of monthly reports & claims.Monitor and report on KPI.Coordinate and provide contractual reporting to client and contract manager.Maintenance of contract plans.Sub-contractor management as required.Liaison with customers, team members, clients and stakeholders to provide operational advice and ensure smooth service delivery.Check and rectify whenever necessary Asset and Invoice Data of Work OrdersContribute to the betterment of processesAs required, assist and manage the Capital works team & Operations team.Contribute to the management of the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems while applying the procedures in all aspects of work.Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provision of services to the client and customers.Ability to participate in an on-call roster.What you'll need to be successfulBachelor of engineering degree and/or relevant tertiary qualificationA minimum of five years' experience in water and wastewater infrastructure and its planning, design and installation, drinking water standards and/or resource consent complianceAn understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure, operations and maintenance activitiesKnowledge of Reinstatements/Construction.Full class 1 driver licenceProven ability to troubleshoot and design basic reticulation systemsProven ability to manage a project and deliver within time and budget constraintsMeet the Contract Key Performance Indicators / levels of service.Build and maintain professional client customer and supplier relationships.Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues.Competent in the application and use of Asset Management Systems, GIS, Google Suite, Excel and Word Document.A proven self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment.An effective communicator who can interact and relate to staff at all levels of the organisation, and the client/customers.High degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic.Confidence in own judgement and capability.Able to adapt to changing circumstances.A practical problem solver.Willing to complete further training as required.Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety legislation.A Veolia CareerOur environmental solutions help customers preserve and renew our natural resources, creating a better future for our planet.
