New year, new gig! We're on the hunt for a seasoned Project Manager to join a high performing aluminum joinery company here in Christchurch.
If you know your trade, love your work and are ready for your next move, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
What's in it for you:
Professional, polished company delivering a high quality product
Dedicated leadership team with their boots on the ground
Solid systems and processes in place to support you
Mentorship and professional development available
$100,000 - $150,000 + vehicle + phone
Role:
This position is for a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of success in the window and door game. This position is available due to growth and an ever-increasing workload, and as such we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and dominate from day one. You'll be joining a well-resourced and supportive team, reporting to proud managers who want to see their people thrive in their roles.
The company is medium-large and specializes in aluminium joinery for commercial and high-end residential projects. With custom project management software tailored to their needs, a tidy and well-lit workshop, and highly skilled staff across manufacturing, installation and operations, these guys are already running a pretty slick operation. Despite this, continuous improvement remains a high priority - systems are being refined and further support staff are en route to ensure clarity and consistency for the team at all times.
To fill this spot, we're looking for someone clever, professional, and driven. Communication and organization skills are high on the priority list, as well as the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with suppliers, customers, trades, consultants, and the internal team. Passion for the industry and a commitment to delivering a high quality product time after time won't hurt either!
What we are looking for:
10+ years experience in aluminum joinery
Demonstrated experience in Project Management including contract administration
Ability to measure on site, handle production documentation, and manage the installation teams
Creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
Team player with a positive attitude
