We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex civil projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and delivering results on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with clients to define project goals, scope, and deliverables, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and scheduling.
Oversee project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff, while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular project reviews and reports to stakeholders, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project success and company reputation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the civil engineering sector, preferably in a consultancy environment.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Proficient in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
