The Opportunity - Te turanga: In this role as Senior Project Manager, you will focus on:
Managing the day-to-day operational relationship with Accenture (the TVNZ Master Systems Integrator) to deliver the Core Media Systems Investment Programme (CMSIP) with accountability across the Rights, Programming & Scheduling and/or Media Asset Management implementation.Delivery of TVNZ responsibilities and activities including planning and documenting project tasks, ensuring deliverables (dependencies) are delivered on-time, managing project resources, effectively communicating with stakeholders, eliminating blockers and potential risks, and documenting projects process using various project management tools.This is a fixed term contract for 12-18 months. To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following: High degree of business & technical awareness with the conceptual ability to identify with the vision developed for the company and programme and support Management with the delivery of the IP Programme to support the company strategy.Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in delivering complex projects including within a larger programme of work.Experience delivering projects within a transformation programme.Experience managing vendors to deliver within a large project.Problem solving and conflict resolution experience.Preferably, experience working in the media industry.Experienced delivering projects within a programme framework that are highly interdependent and highly integrated.Experience working with Architecture, Applications, Data, Infrastructure and Security teams.Jira/Confluence and other project management tools.Demonstrable experience in managing projects involving process reengineering, organisational change and technology enabled change.Have the stature, knowledge, personality and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility with senior managers, both internally and externally, and to influence key decision makers across TVNZ.Decisive and a self-starter with the energy, motivation and resilience necessary to be effective in a very demanding environment.Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
