Wellington• Attractive benefits for all employees• Offers flexible working arrangements• Great Earning Potential• Be a valuable member of an excellent team• Full-time, Permanent positionAbout the RoleCome join our amazing team!Planning the project and ensuring milestones are achieved and resources optimised.Achieving project margins, identifying problems with cost and time implications and taking corrective-action as required.Carrying out all required company and contractual reporting correctly and on time.Ensuring good governance in respect of all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.Ensuring continuous improvements occur within the Omexom Management Systems.Assisting Project Managers from other areas in the recovery of poor performing contracts.Managing, developing, and mentoring staff performing a variety of roles at various levels.Re-estimating labour to complete the job at the end of each month.Ensuring all variations are identified, submitted, and authorised by the client.Ensuring that both Omexom and the client comply with the Contract Agreement.Presenting monthly progress claims correctly and on the due dates.Managing labour to maintain excellent productivity and industrial relations.Applying the industry codes of practice and ensuring they are complied with on each project.Ensuring safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act are followed and communicated to all staff through holding regular HSEQ meetings.Understanding and implementing the company health and safety policy and taking reasonable care of own health and safety and the health and safety of others.Making health and safety decisions by exercising care, diligence, and skill that a reasonable person would exercise in the same circumstances.About youHands on experience in electrical and construction project management.Possess estimating/tendering skills, with an ability to be hands on.Thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.Knowledge of industry contracting procedures and contract law.Must have attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills with customers at all levels.What you can expect:• Company provided health insurance for employees and dependents.• 6% Kiwisaver employer contribution and 9% after 10 years of service• Career advancement opportunities• Opportunity to buy company sharesHow to applyIf you are ready to take on these exciting responsibilities and make a significant impact on our technology landscape, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
