Te Whiwhinga mahi| The opportunity A key role, reporting to the Business Improvement & Support Practice Manager, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering projects under the Emergency Management Improvement Programme (EMIP). This role interfaces with teams within Auckland Transport and Waka Kotahi for a one network, one customer approach in delivering the EMIP improvement projects. It also incluces interfaces & collaboration with other partner agencies including and not limited to Auckland Emergency Management, ASM, Metservice, Auckland Council etc. Establishing programme oversight of EMIP and developing programme cadence. Progress and performance reporting to ATOC's Joint Management Board and other leadership forums Working collaboratively with multitude of teams and groups across AT, Waka Kotahi and other partner agencies to identify solutions to implement EMIP recommendations. Leading and engaging in development of project management best practice and project/ programme management framework within EMIP Managing assigned budgets for EMIP and applying fiscal stewardship A strong communicator and influencer, with excellent analytical and delivery skills combined with sound judgment and good decision-making processes. Experienced in the successful delivery of projects in a large complex organisation and possessing a solid understanding and experience managing projects in an Agile environment.
