Responsible for supporting the Contract Manager in the management of the road maintenance contract and the programming and delivery of road maintenance and renewal works to maintain the road network to the desired levels of service.This role is an integral part of the combined road maintenance team (AT/supplier) and supports the Contract Manager in establishing and maintaining a strong collaborative working relationship with our supplier to support the intent and objectives of the Collaborative Maintenance Partnership (CMP) contract.A typical day might include:Responsibility for the delivery of road maintenance and renewal works and achievement of the contract's objectives and desired outcomes in the respective contract area.Reviewing and approving the contractor's monthly work programs.Managing the delivery of the annual road maintenance and renewal programs.Reviewing and certifying the quantity and quality of completed work, for payment and quality assurance purposes.Formulating written responses to customer requests.Developing solutions that meet our customers' needs, while maintaining a safe and high-performance network.Na tau rourou | What will you bring?As a seasoned professional, you will bring 7 years' post graduate experience in the delivery of road maintenance and renewals. Ideally you will have:Extensive experience in the use of RAMM, including RAMM Contractor, Network Manager and RAMM GIS.A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a relevant discipline.Results focused with demonstrated use of initiative, proactive problem solving and a 'can do' attitude to solve complex challenges - particularly across diverse stakeholders and business units.Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.High customer orientation while maintaining a delivery focus.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
