Job Title: Project Engineer Experienced and motivated Project Engineer needed for an innovative service company focused in the fuels & oil sector.
About Company: Privately owned NZ company with a stellar reputation and history of innovation that delivers projects and services to customers in the petroleum industry.
They specialise in: Service Manufacturing Project Management Engineering and cover almost anything fuel related.
Their engineering team specialises in fuel and oil related design, engineering, drafting and documentation.
They have built a solid reputation in delivering ultimate infrastructure solutions, which includes the design & build of commercial fuel stops and service stations.
They are wanting a Senior Project Engineer or a Project Engineer ready for the next step to assist with providing innovation and pragmatic solutions in engineering project management.
About Role: Provide planning, engineering, and/or site construction support for projects.
The role will also provide technical advice to support the successful delivery of projects.
Liaise with clients and key stakeholders on project requirements.
Lead an engineering team of 3 to 4 people.
Work with Project Managers and Planners on the preliminary and detailed scoping, initial costing, and planning for the project.
Analyse drawings and provide quoting and estimate tenders for jobs.
Prepare specifications of materials required for each project.
Prepare operational and maintenance manuals.
Ensure all paperwork including job cost, timesheets, invoicing, stock requisitions and creditor invoices are managed.
Conduct CAD design work.

Proven ability in delivering projects.
Previous leadership experience is ideal.
Understanding of mechanical and civil engineering.
Strong technical capability and credibility.
Sound understanding of engineering practice standards.
Understanding regulations around hazardous substances is beneficial but can be learnt.
CAD design experience.
Conduct site and manufacturing inspections for compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
