The role/Te mahi
In this Dunedin based role, we are seeking a qualified professional who would make a significant contribution to the teaching (including administrative aspects) and training of future Pharmacists. Senior Professional Practice Fellows contribute to reinforcing and promoting the inter-dependence between teaching, research and professional practice.
Your skills and experience/Ka pukeka me ka wheako
Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualification in Pharmacy Practice.
New Zealand registration as a pharmacist.
Appropriate professional experience.
Extensive experience with University-level curriculum design and development for training pharmacy students.
A commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and to equal opportunity.
Evidence of an ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds at all levels of the institution.

This is a full-time (1 FTE), permanent position available from December 2024.
The salary range for a Senior Teaching & Professional Practice Fellow is $98,640 to $128,305. The successful candidate will be appointed to a step on the Senior Teaching & Professional Practice Fellow salary scale based on skills, experience and qualifications.
