The Hired Guns are seeking a Senior Production Coordinator, Translations to support vendor management and quality control on the creative team within a fast-growing healthcare company.
The Nitty Gritty The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you! A growing global healthcare company (they specialize in clinical trials) is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Production Coordinator, Translations to work on their award-winning creative team.
You will be a key member of the creative team, working and liaising with vendors (including translations providers and printing/shipping vendors) to manage the end-to-end workflow of large-scale requests to publish brochures about health literacy and clinical trials in many languages. In this job, you will be charged with ensuring a smooth workflow, facilitating interdepartmental communication, keeping vendors on track with deadlines, assisting with proofing materials, and sending out requests (both internally and to vendors).
Why You? How you'll know if you're a fit… You have 3-5 years' experience in the localization and production side of things and are excited by the idea of moving to a company that saves lives – literally. You're extremely detail-oriented, can multitask with ease, and have exceptional spoken and written communication skills. You have a strong drive for success and are proud of your track record of getting things done on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality. You've previously worked with production and creative teams to ensure the highest quality standards for proofreading and Quality Assurance (QA) and are comfortable overseeing translation changes in highly-regulated industries.
