Reporting to the General Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic and operational plans for our Immunology portfolio. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Senior Product Manager will aim to maximize brand uptake, achieve broad patient access, and drive revenue growth in the market.We are looking for individuals who embody a growth mindset, possess a competitive spirit, and are willing to take smart risks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a strategic and tactical capacity, alongside a team of passionate and inspiring individuals who are deeply connected to our purpose of improving patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:• Apply critical thinking and challenge country-specific insights by understanding the market, patient and customer journey, competitive dynamics, and the brand's impact on the healthcare system.• Utilize key insights and business opportunities to develop brand strategy and operational plans in alignment with global and CPO direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams.• Implement an active stakeholder management plan, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.• Prioritize customer segments to optimise targeting, positioning, and messaging in line with the brand strategy.• Develop and execute marketing campaigns and tactics, effectively managing performance through well-defined KPIs.• Drive an integrated multichannel brand mix by allocating resources appropriately to provide exceptional customer experiences.• Enable the sales team with clear messaging and a differentiated brand positioning.• Provide direction to the sales team and strategic partnerships team, ensuring the delivery of solutions that enhance patient access to our medicines.• Foster effective agency partnerships and seek external expertise to significantly impact business performance.• Collaborate with the supply chain team to drive sales forecasting and product demand.• Monitor business performance and external environment using appropriate tools, taking corrective action when necessary to meet business objectives.• Act as a brand champion, generating enthusiasm and focus internally and among external customers and agencies.• Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the talent pipeline within the organisation.Diversity & Inclusion / EEO We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Role Requirements Critical Skills and Experience:• Strong strategic and operational brand management skills.• Experience leading cross-functional teams in local launch and pre-launch activities to achieve desired business outcomes.• Proficiency in lifecycle management of brands.• Experience across different brands and therapy areas.• Proven track record in highly competitive environments.• Previous customer-facing roles, such as sales experience.• In-depth understanding of the market and healthcare system, gained through country experience.• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.If you are seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, join Novartis New Zealand and be part of our mission to improve patient lives.
