SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Engineering team based in our Bell Block office. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical oversight/support on mechanical and process design, including liaising with project management for our changes to facilities. Working with the Greymouth Petroleum team is an exciting and unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a project, from project management, design and procurement to the fabrication, construction, and commissioning of facilities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, development and implementation of engineering, projects and maintenance programs for Greymouth Petroleum's assets and facilities. Participate and conduct studies to confirm the scoping requirements and justification for major additions/upgrades to sites. Lead planning and implementation of projects, manage project budgets, contractors and resource allocation. Provide technical support and guidance for projects and initiatives. Ensure that fit for purpose QA / QC systems are used to assure project quality. Oversee construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project sites. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to safety standards, environmental compliance and design specifications. Participate in the development and implementation of policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department. Ensure regulatory compliance of all Greymouth Petroleum site facilities. Liaise with and manage interfaces between company and external stakeholders throughout the project process. Train, guide and supervise less experienced Engineers. Knowledge and Education At least 15 years' experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry. Degree in an engineering discipline. Frequent use and general knowledge of good engineering systems practices, techniques, and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner. Excellent computer skills including stress analysis packages, Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong organisational skills in relation to planning, attention to detail, record keeping, administration and the meeting of deadlines. Good understanding of Health and Safety systems, procedures and legislation specific to the energy industry.
