The Role is a Senior Process Engineer to take the lead in process design and equipment specification on a variety of projects. You will work alongside the Design and Project teams to see projects through every stage while also providing ongoing support to clients across NZ and Australia. This is a role for someone with strong technical knowledge and the ability to apply it practically, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction. With 10+ years of relevant industry experience, you'll have the chance to become a key member of the team and a leader in a niche industry. Key Responsibilities: Lead process design and equipment specification for various projects Collaborate with Design and Project Teams to detail, build, and deliver solutions Provide technical assistance and expertise to clients Apply thermodynamic, steam system, and heating/cooling knowledge to projects Work closely with contractors during project commissioning Maintain a balance of office-based consulting and some travel to client sites Ensure accurate project pricing and commercial awareness throughout Skills and Experience Required: Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering 10+ years of industry experience, ideally across industries such as wastewater, food manufacturing, dairy, pulp and paper, oil & gas, or energy systems Strong understanding of industrial plant processes including thermodynamics, steam systems, and pumping/piping design Commercial awareness, including experience in pricing proposals A self-motivated problem-solver with excellent communication skills Experience in commissioning process plants and working across multidisciplinary teams The right to work in a full-time permanent role in NZ What's in it for you?
