The role will include:Provide advice on strategic research investments and closely manage their delivery.Manage a portfolio of projects related to NHC research theme/s.Work with subject matter experts to develop research priorities for the portfolio and identify research opportunities.Support researchers, subject matter experts, and communication specialists with disseminating research to those who need it.Work with the team to identify, monitor, and evaluate potential impact of research we invest in over the short, medium, and long-term.The role is crucial for ensuring the NHC Toka Tu Ake research portfolio is aligned with the NHC Toka Tu Ake Resilience Strategy for Natural Hazard Risk Reduction.Your confident and engaging manner and excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to quickly build effective working relationships across all levels. You will be a credible and trusted person who is actively sought out for their advice, influence, and collaborative approach.Ko wai koe | About You5+ years experience in Research Management/project management in the context of hazard risk management or science institutions.
