This Senior Hydro Engineer role is the specialist in all-things hydropower. MB Century sees this person as a well-seasoned mechanical engineer, with technical leadership skills and site-based experience, looking to impact New Zealand's energy sector.Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, you'll primarily be responsible for:Leading design and engineering work for the hydro power sectorBeing the technical advisor for hydro refurbishment projects and supporting tendering activitiesShaping the hydropower engineering service strategyElevating MB Century's engineering capability by mentoring and developing the next generation of engineersActively networking with new and existing contacts to support business growth opportunitiesAbout You:With substantial experience in hydropower engineering including maintenance, refurbishment and rehabilitation projects, you'll have a proven track record with the design of hydropower and ancillary equipment. As a Senior Engineer, you'll ideally offer NZ CPEng registration or a Washington Accord Mechanical Engineering degree.
