Senior Policy Analyst, Workforce Strategy And Policy

The Workplace Strategy and Policy team is responsible for guiding and developing health system settings to ensure New Zealand has a sustainable, representative and responsive health workforce that can meet the future needs of people and whanau.
As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will be leading and contributing to the development and delivery of quality policy advice to improve health outcomes for New Zealanders within a complex and ambiguous policy space.
Some of your day-to-day work may include:

Leading work to develop new initiatives that will respond to challenges in the future Health Workforce.
Coordinating across agencies to develop advice on key areas of health workforce policy.
Contributing to strategic monitoring and oversight of shifts in the Health workforce and potential future implications.
Responding to emerging challenges and issues arising in the sector.

This role is band 18PA with a midpoint of $119,209, appointing salary dependent on individual skills and experience.
