Senior Policy Advisors- 6 Month & 12 Month Fixed Term

Our client is seeking experienced Senior Policy Advisors to join their Investment & Insights Team on a 6 and 12-month fixed-term basis. In this fast-paced and varied environment, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies that benefit New Zealanders. The work programme will focus on providing strategic policy advice, leading key discussions, and making recommendations to influence decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Lead and contribute to key policy projects to achieve optimal outcomesLead the delivery of strategic policy advice and facilitate key discussions with internal and external stakeholdersDraft comprehensive reports and briefings for Ministers and senior leadershipDevelop data-driven policy insights and recommendations through rigorous research and analysisExhibit strong analytical and presentation skillsStrengthen team capability by mentoring and coaching policy advisors to enhance their knowledge and skillsYour Skills:Experienced Senior Policy Advisor in a NZ government agency, or Crown EntityExperience (and a high degree of comfort) dealing with ambiguityProven ability to communicate with influence, and experience briefing elected representativesExcellent writing skills, experience drafting policy papers and ministerial briefingsA good level of interest and some experience working with data beneficial given our breadth of workStrong stakeholder engagement skills with other key agencies and providers including local governmentA tertiary qualification in a discipline relevant to policy, social science or economics.If you are interested please apply today with an updated CV to ****** quoting job reference #MT06304 or call Michelle Thomas or Marissa Taylor today on 049097384. #J-18808-Ljbffr
