Tenei turanga - About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to join our recently established Biotech Policy and Regulation team. You will play a key role in delivering our work programme in the high profile, priority work to enable and grow New Zealand's biotech sector, with a primary focus on developing and implementing gene technology reforms. This role provides an opportunity to build and grow your policy skills in a fast-paced environment in an engaged, collaborative and supportive team.

Have a strong policy (or policy-adjacent) background, and excellent relationship management skills.
Are a strong critical thinker and problem solver, with strong analytical abilities.

Can work independently and as part of a team.
Can communicate complex issues and concepts clearly and succinctly, in a way appropriate for the audience.
Have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
