The Role
We are looking for a Senior Planner to join the Stratum Team. The position involves taking the lead in company projects by providing planning and resource management advice and working collaboratively with our Surveyors, Geotechnical and Civil Engineers to produce quality outcomes for our clients.
Our planning team work with a wide variety of clients, and our projects are equally diverse, with commercial, industrial, rural and residential developments of varying sizes and complexities.
You will be experienced with resource management including all aspects of the consenting process and will be comfortable liaising with regional and local government authorities, clients and other stakeholders.
As an experienced Planner, you will build relationships and be active in the local market contributing to identification and securing of new work.
The role will be based in our Tauranga office, with most of your work being in the Bay of Plenty area. And let's not forget the legendary lifestyle and climate this area offers!
What are we looking for?
A relevant tertiary qualification
A minimum of 5+ years of New Zealand based experience
Hold or eligible for full NZPI membership
Proven track record in the consulting environment
Experience in land development and subdivision processes
Strong client relationship and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of legislative and planning frameworks
Effective and efficient report and application writing skills
Team player that thrives in a collaborative environment.
