You will work within a newly renovated clinic and have the opportunity to help lead our pain and ICP services.You will have a skilled clinical background that shows experienced assessment, diagnosis, and patient management of those with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries or impairments. You will be a supportive and passionate mentor to our junior Physiotherapists.The Mana clinic holds contracts for Pain Management, ICPMSK, Training For Independence, Private Rehabilitation Contracts, Private Rehabilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation services, and much more.We have close working relationships with community GP practices including Te Runanga O Toa Rangatira and its Ora Toa Clinic network as well as with Porirua Union Community Health Service.In this role, you will report to the Mana Clinic Manager and be part of our multidisciplinary team which includes Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Exercise Consultant, and Occupational Therapists. You will be closely aligned with Orthopaedic surgeons (including monthly in-service training).Ideally, you will be available to work full-time. However, working hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate.About the Mana TeamThe Mana team is a diverse multicultural group that enjoys gathering for social engagements, daily quizzes, morning teas, and morning coffee walks.Our newly renovated clinic is situated overlooking Onehunga Bay and Whitirea Reserve. The train station is a 4-5 minute walk and parking is easily accessible.We place importance on opportunities to team build and network including frequent social gatherings, and we also meet up with other clinics. All clinics in the Lower North Island area have a social committee that meets to plan get-togethers.Our team members have the opportunity to contribute their expertise by taking on additional roles such as Contract Lead, Hauora Connect local champion, Health & Safety Committee member, Supervisor, etc. You will be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space as well.
