As a Senior Pharmacist – Medicines Information, you will lead the development and delivery of our medicines information service. Day to day you will be working within the Quality and Safe Use of Medicines (QSUM) team in the pharmacy department, with a focus on the provision of medicine information, overseeing medicines information and safety resources, and being a key contact for our information service. Using your clinical, research skills and communication skills, you will also contribute to medicine safety initiatives and other QSUM work.

Key responsibilities of the role: Research and respond to medicine information queries from a wide range of health professionals.Lead the development of our medicines information services and safety initiatives.Build relationships with other medicines information pharmacists across the country.Collaboration with other health professionals.Explore the integration of innovative technologies and data management into the medicines information service.Mentor and train pharmacists, interns and students.Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role: Registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.A current annual practising certificate with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.Highly Desirable At least 5 years of post-registration pharmacy experience, with at least 3 years in a hospital or clinical setting, or equivalent.Experience in the provision of medicines information and medicine safety initiatives.How to Apply To apply for the role please click "apply now."
