Due to an internal movement, we currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced banking professional to progress their career in an equally challenging yet rewarding role, where you will lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Partners across Agri, Commercial and Business. We sat down with our Head of Commercial, Agri & Business, who let us know the following about the role: What does a day in the life of a Senior Partner look like? Working closely with the Head of Commercial, Agri & Business to develop and implement annual business plans and market strategies which promote the growth of BNZ Partners market share. Ensuring Partners understand their roles and what is required to achieve success through constructive performance conversations. Encouraging knowledge transfer / best practice / leverage of experience, to improve the overall achievement of the Partnership and Regional teams. Maintaining the credit quality of the lending book of the team through the assessment of lending proposals, analysing financial information, and agreeing lending proposals in consultation with Credit. Complying with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position. What is the team culture and environment like? You will be leading a team of 8 Partners across the Otago Region. This is a diverse role covering each of Business, Commercial and Agri, and is a team of both fresh new faces and BNZ veterans. A key requirement is to have a deep knowledge of financial products and services, along with strong technical capability and a passion for helping people reach their potential. You will also have a proven track record of leading a team, preferably gained within a customer facing environment within the financial services industry.
