We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced warehouse Senior Operations Lead to be part of the management team that will lead the staff through change, and oversee and manage the day-to-day operations.
We anticipate the working hours to be weighted towards the afternoon/evening period.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.What you will do:Responsible for all facets of Inbound and Outbound processing of materials through the facility, leading through a team of floor supervisors and section team leaders.Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all operations.Maintain, support and drive the quality system and utilise this system to achieve continuous performance improvements across warehouse operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals and meet customer demands.Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.Manage all aspects of employee administration, recruitment documentation and temporary labour staff management.Ensure all staff follow the facility and equipment maintenance SOPs to ensure optimal functionality.What we are looking for:Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large and diverse workforce.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.Proven experience in managing staff performance reviews, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, interpret data and seek continuous improvement.Ability to contribute to a harmonious working environment.Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to work in a company where you are valued, given the recognition you deserve and suitably rewarded for your hard work.Other benefits include:Employee Share Plan;Employee Assistance Program for Mental Health Wellbeing;Staff Awards;Employee Referral Program;Health Insurance Discounts;And More.EBOS Group are committed to developing and creating an inclusive workplace that embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from people of all ages, nationalities and cultures.How to Apply:If you believe that you have the necessary attributes to succeed in this challenging and rewarding role, please contact Kate McGregor at ****** checks may be required and will be discussed with the successful candidate.We are unable to proceed with your application if your current visa restrictions preclude you from being able to perform the role in line with immigration laws.Applications close: 24 January 2025
