Senior Office Administrator

Details of the offer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Office Administrator to oversee smooth daily operations and provide essential support to our client's branch. This role is key to managing everything from order processing and supplier coordination to stock control, logistics, and customer support. This is a full-time, 6-month contract to start at the end of November or start of December.
Key Responsibilities:
Order & Stock Management: Process customer and purchase orders, maintain stock levels, and manage transfers.
Quotation & Invoicing: Support the Branch Manager with quotes, handle invoicing, and process end-of-month requests.
Staff & Site Oversight: Communicate effectively with factory staff and driver in the Branch Manager's absence, to ensure everything is completed as required.
Logistics Coordination: Schedule freight, driver accommodations, and coordinate with factory staff.
Customer Service: Be the first point of contact for phone and in-person inquiries, and handle website queries.
Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee vehicle, trailer, and equipment upkeep.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in office administration.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage tasks independently, prioritise effectively, and solve problems proactively.
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry would be beneficial.
