Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)Hourly rate contract to end of June 2025Auckland CBDOpportunity for a Senior Organisational Development (OD) Consultant on a contract basis. This role will play a critical part in shaping the leadership and talent landscape across the organisation, with a particular focus on leadership development. The position will also lead key talent and engagement processes and help drive initiatives that support people strategy.This role reports to the Head of People & Culture. It will be the subject matter expert in OD but will work closely with the broader P&C team.Key Responsibilities:Leadership Development:Reviewing leadership work delivered to dateClarifying leadership development needs across the organisation, including the Executive Leadership Team.Liaise with the organisation to identify any opportunities for leveraging existing programmes or suppliersSource and manage external suppliers for leadership development programmes if requiredDesign and deliver tailored leadership development solutions for different levels of the organisationEmployee Engagement Survey:Manage the 6-monthly employee engagement survey using Workday/PeakonEnsure timely action planning and follow-up on survey results to drive engagement improvements across the organisation.Recognition Approach Review:Review and assess the current approach to employee recognition.Recommend improvements or alternative approaches to better align with organisational goals and culture.Talent & Succession Planning:Lead the talent and succession planning process to ensure future leadership and critical roles are identified and supported for development.Work closely with key stakeholders to implement robust succession strategies.Key Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience in leadership development, organisational development, or a similar role.Strong background in designing and delivering leadership programmes, ideally within a cost constrained environment and for all levels including executive team.Experience with employee engagement surveys and action planning, preferably with systems such as Workday or Peakon.Solid understanding of talent and succession planning processes.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership team.Able to produce high quality written communications and presentations.For more information please contact Kris Attewell at 021 435712 or email ****** or APPLY NOW!Job#128498NOTE: to apply for this role you must reside in NZ, be eligible to work in NZ and have NZ work experience.
