Senior Occupational Therapist at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata, Auckland1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) We are looking for an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working in an acute inpatient team.
As a senior practitioner, you will be part of a senior team providing day-to-day clinical expertise and support to the inpatient Occupational Therapist and wider Allied Health team in close liaison with the Clinical Coach, Advanced Clinician, Occupational Therapy Clinical Leader, Team Manager, and Professional Clinical Leader for Occupational Therapy.
ResponsibilitiesAt least 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with diverse occupational therapy knowledge.Experience working in an acute inpatient hospital setting.Flexibility and willingness to work across different wards to meet service needs.Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Organised and demonstrate strong time management abilities.Work positively and proactively to optimise patient and team experience.Desire to upskill self and others.Preferably have project or quality improvement experience.Core ValuesTe Whatu Ora Waitemata / Health NZ has Four Core values that guide our practice:
