As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior New Product Development Technologist to join our team and lead the development of our next generation of products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development: Lead and manage the end-to-end process of new product development, from concept creation to launch, ensuring products meet customer expectations and align with the company's health and sustainability goals.
Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying new trends, ingredients, and technologies to enhance product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior technologists, sharing knowledge on food science, formulation, and process optimization.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all new products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Customer Focus: Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, translating these insights into successful product concepts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years' experience in new product development within the food or beverages industry.
Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market.
Strong understanding of food science, ingredients, and formulation techniques.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A passion for innovation and a commitment to developing health-focused products.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the food industry.
