You will work with the best people in your field and regularly participate in professional development and ongoing training.Due to strong sustained growth we require highly experienced security professional(s) who will be responsible for the security management, monitoring, and implementation of security solutions.Working closely with all aspects of the business, this is an integral role that will require an individual with the ability to understand client requirements both in terms of their business and IT needs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client networks and security infrastructure from the Security Operations Centre.Managing, owning and coordinating technical resolution of faults.Managing client expectations and escalating critical situations to appropriate levels of management.Liaise with vendors, as required, to achieve problem resolution.Accepting, managing and updating service requests to ensure contracted service levels are met and escalating issues affecting delivery of service to management.Meeting agreed SLA's by leading a team of professional services employees in the provision of high level security support to our clients.Understanding the complexity of escalated technical problems in order to properly allocate resources to developing and implementing solutions in the most cost effective manner.Understanding and managing the requirements of being part of a 24x7 on-call operation, including but not limited to, shift hand-over, operational advice, guidance, support and escalation.Mentoring of Level 1 & 2 staff.RequirementsMinimum 8 years Networking experienceMinimum 3 years Network Security experienceStrong knowledge of Routers, Switches and firewalls such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, FortinetThorough hands on experience with Proxy and IPS solutionsExcellent communication skills both verbal & writtenMust have full working rightsIf you believe that your skills closely match the above requirement then please reach out to Shane Hodgins at ****** Rights Reserved | West Recruitment Pty Ltd
