About the Role As a Global Leader in material handling automation Daifuku Oceania continues to experience growth. Daifuku Oceania is multi-disciplined and operates across multiple sites and offices in more than eight countries.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to Design and implement Network systems for Daifuku Oceania Enterprise IT and Projects IT teams. Underpinning this will be a hands-on technical approach with strong customer service and quality ethos.
Based in our Auckland Office, you will be part of the Enterprise IT team and also working across Airport, Self Service and Intralogistics projects which include IT scope and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, validate, implement and manage IT solutions to ensure their stability, scalability and security. This includes Enterprise backbone Firewalls Load Balancers Routers VPN solutions Wi-Fi networks Project sites Actively participate to ISO9001 and 27001 certification maintenance Report on and manage infrastructure for corporate devices, asset management, licensing reporting, software deployment, remote support Provide day to day IT support for Daifuku Oceania team members and customers globally Document and maintain Daifuku Oceania corporate IT policies, procedures and policies Help with deployment of future IT projects and initiatives About you As an experienced Senior Network Engineer, you need strong interpersonal skills, a logical approach to problem solving and strong analytical skills in both diagnosis and problem resolution.
You bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:
Computer Science degree or equivalent 3+ years in a Senior Network engineering role In depth hands on technical knowledge of IT Networks, Firewall, switching, wireless solutions Network infrastructure design, switching and routing technologies, routing protocols Load balancing (HA Proxy) In depth understanding and experience with cloud-based services, technologies and solutions from a networking perspective Experience with various physical and virtual devices and network appliances in relations to network solutions Proven experience providing remote request and incident support along with problem management.
