Our client is a well-known and respected energy industry player, with offices around the globe.
The New Zealand operation currently concentrates on E&P and as part of their planning for the future, they are keen to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to their New Plymouth based team.
The Role We are looking for a person with a tertiary mechanical engineering qualification with over 7 years' experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability projects.
You will be involved in: Working on maintenance and reliability improvement projects Assisting in developing of designs, selection of materials, etc.
Seeing projects through to completion The Person To be successful in this role you will: Be a tertiary qualified Mechanical Engineer Have at least 7 years' experience in the oil & gas (preferred) or petrochemical industry Be experienced designing heavy industrial plant Have proven contractor management experience You'll be an organiser, a coordinator, someone experienced in dealing with people, at all levels, and forming good working relationships.
