Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a well-known and respected energy industry player, with offices around the globe. The New Zealand operation currently concentrates on E&P and as part of their planning for the future, they are keen to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to their New Plymouth based team.
The Role We are looking for a person with a tertiary mechanical engineering qualification with over 7 years' experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability projects.
You will be involved in:
Working on maintenance and reliability improvement projects
Assisting in developing designs, selection of materials, etc.
Seeing projects through to completion
The Person To be successful in this role you will:
Be a tertiary qualified Mechanical Engineer
Have at least 7 years' experience in the oil & gas (preferred) or petrochemical industry
Be experienced designing heavy industrial plant
Have proven contractor management experience
You'll be an organiser, a coordinator, someone experienced in dealing with people at all levels, and forming good working relationships.
