Collectively as Fortifi, they can improve a single line or automate an entire food processing plant, anywhere in the worldTHE ROLEThe core focus of this role is the continued design of world class products that meet business targets. Technically you have the skill and expertise to know what design work can be completed in the time available, that it is robust, safe and easily manufactured. From a leadership perspective you will support and offer guidance to Engineers and Graduate Engineers to enable them to perform successfully at all levels on your projectsThis is a key "hands on" senior technical design role, which places a strong emphasis on keeping products at the forefront of the global market. You will be part of a wider team consisting of mechanical design, R&D, control systems, and engineering support staff. Technically you will have a strong focus on the design of the products from the ground up, recognizing any potential design flaws before and during the build.SKILLSThe personal fit is very important for this role.
