Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB) is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor to drive its growth and member engagement strategy.
New Zealand Certified Builders is a membership organisation for trade qualified residential builders. Its members build high-quality homes for everyday New Zealanders. They're the only builder association in New Zealand with strict entry criteria, where the minimum entry requirement for all members is a recognised industry trade qualification in carpentry. An industry leader, NZCB has an extensive membership of around 3,000 members (both businesses and individuals) throughout New Zealand. With an ambitious strategy in place, NZCB has been on a transformative journey of growth.
The Senior Marketing & Communications Advisor will play a key role in NZCB's marketing initiatives, supporting both national and regional teams in enhancing brand awareness, engaging members, and executing effective marketing campaigns. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, supporting events, and member engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for new initiatives and programs. Provide brand and marketing support to Territory Managers and regional teams. Support member communications, publications, and manage platforms such as CRM and survey tools. Oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials and merchandise, ensuring efficient processes. Assist with the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and webinars. What you'll bring to the role: Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns. Excellent writing and editing skills for different formats and audiences. Ability to interpret data and optimise marketing campaigns. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn new tools and technologies. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or events. Proficiency with digital marketing tools and software. A strong portfolio showcasing marketing successes. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is advantageous.
