The Role We're looking for someone enthusiastic about using their skills to enhance processes and operations. You'll handle both BAU accounting and ad hoc commercial finance tasks with key responsibilities that include: Accurate reporting contributing to sound decision-making, including sales and margin, cash flow, and monthly management accounts. Prepare month-end management reporting and statutory accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Partner with department managers to support budget process and periodic forecasting. Focus on continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to unlock process enhancement opportunities. You will need CA, CPA, or similar qualified, along with internal experience either on secondment or in a commercial organisation. Proficiency in accounting standards and regulatory requirements relevant to New Zealand. Demonstrated ability to manage and analyse complex financial data in Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Strong organisational skills and the ability to streamline financial processes and controls. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different regions.
