In this Senior Management Accountant role, you will get to business partner with the powerhouse of the business, which is a critical part of what makes this brand stand out from the rest.
You'll be working alongside people on a daily basis who are passionate about what they do. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for the division, you will be backed to make efficiencies and improvements to both processes as well as insights.
The key aspects to this role include:
Leading the business unit's monthly management accounts and reporting, annual budget, and quarterly forecasting.
Partnering closely with the business unit to provide insights and financial support for decision making.
Evaluating return on investment of projects.
Capitalisation of projects.
Improving processes and reporting.
Your background:
We are looking for someone who is ideally CA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in industry within management accounting. There are some accounting technical aspects to the role such as capitalisation to get your head around. You'll need to have the confidence and capability to understand some complexity and also suggest improvements to the way things are done. The strong partnering nature of this role means that you'll have strong people skills as well as the ability to explain things and communicate clearly.
