Our friendly Aquatic Services team are seeking a Senior Lifeguard for a permanent full-time role.
This position is 80 hours per fortnight to be worked according to a four-week rotating roster, shifts will generally be worked between 5.20am and 9.30pm, Monday to Sunday.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Supervise our pool users, using available areas and rotations to provide constant supervision of our facilities.
Work with the Supervisor to action staff rotations as instructed, ensuring pool supervision meets Pool Safe standards and other industry best practice or guidelines.
Support the Supervisor to provide effective supervision of Lifeguards, ensuring delegated work tasks are communicated as directed by the Supervisor.
Participate in the delivery of safe and effective aquatic operations, including the daily programme and implementing day-to-day changes required to pool activities.
What you will bring:
Be a confident swimmer and able to pass an initial water-based skills test.
Be willing to gain a National Pool Lifeguard certificate (level 3) and a First Aid certificate.
Demonstrated experience in customer relations and communication skills.
Experience in supervision of staff.
Proven Lifeguarding experience.
