Our Senior Library Assistants – Content & Discovery play a vital part within our library team ensuring that our libraries provide a world-class customer experience that is second to none.
A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the team as a Senior Library Assistant – Content & Discovery based at Auckland Central Library.
This role sits within the Metadata and Supply team and involves all aspects of preparing library material to be added to our collections, including the creation of metadata to describe and classify materials, processing and labelling of material, invoicing, and the full life-cycle of Serials Management.
You will have a passion for making a difference in the library and a strong, people-focused work ethic.
Attention to detail and an ability to look for innovations and new ways of working are important in this role.
This is a permanent full-time 40-hour position working Monday - Friday.
This senior role requires you to step up and take the lead with problem-solving and innovating.
Flexibility, adaptability, superb people skills, a willingness to learn, a passion for customer service, and a can-do attitude are essential.
