About the Firm: Fluid is excited to partner exclusively once again with our client, representing their leading Corporate Law team, located in the Auckland CBD.
About the Role: This is a newly created role to cater for recent growth in our client's corporate team, reflecting their reputation in this space as a market leader.
You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and PA duties for several senior authors in this team, several of which sit within senior leadership and committee groups.
Due to the busy nature of this team, this role requires an efficient, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented professional, with a team-oriented and adaptable approach to their work.
Join a busy corporate law team in the CBD with a genuinely collaborative team with a dynamic feel and busy stream of work.
Provide direct PA support to partners and senior members of the firm, full diary and inbox management.
Support complex transactions and a variety of corporate advisory work, including M&A matters, contracts administration, capital raising, new business and joint ventures, franchising, as well as relevant banking and finance work.
Advanced file management, incorporating complex documentation preparation and collation using a variety of administrative software.
Assist authors with relationship management, preparing thorough documents and providing high levels of communication across queries and processes.
Administer monthly billing process and oversee specific client engagement requirements such as file status reports.
Administer AML and compliance requirements, in line with both national and international markets.
This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, down to 35 hours across 5 days.
About You: This opportunity is suitable for legal secretaries with 3+ years of experience operating within a fast-paced corporate team.
The firm as a whole prides themselves on their high-trust culture, allowing you to operate with equal parts autonomy and support.
Ideally, this role will draw on your prior exposure to international transactions and regulatory markets, or banking and finance work, incorporating a variety of compliance and AML processes, but it will also offer intermediate-level secretaries an opportunity to advance their skillset into this space.
Above all, you will be eager to muck in within a busy team and prioritise a wide range of tasks and demonstrate initiative under pressure.
