Senior Legal Counsel In house litigation and moreInteresting and unique workContribute to the continuous improvement of policy and practiceThe Opportunity This is a great opportunity for someone with litigation experience, who is wanting to continue managing a range of litigation files, but also gain broader experience in, and give legal advice related to policy and regulation matters within a government agency.
You will be supported by a legal manager and get to work alongside and gain experience from the General Counsel and a newly appointed Principal Solicitor. You will also be encouraged to contribute your expertise towards the continuous development of policy and practice issues across the organisation.
The Role In this role you will independently manage a caseload of tribunal cases and you will also:
provide legal advice and opinions in relation to licensing and disciplinary processes.work on a range of interesting and unique work pertaining to relevant legislation, regulations, and codes.contribute to policy and practice development to ensure organisational activities meet the highest possible standards.About you You will have 5-7 years PQE, with experience managing litigation and you will also have:
