Our client, a reputable Public Sector Entity, is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to join their team in Auckland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic legal advice and mentorship within the public sector.
The role is a 1 year fixed-term contract but there may be the possibility to go permanent. The company offers great flexibility once you have been in the role a month and have built relationships with your internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing reports, submissions or opinions on legal and policy issues;Providing other legal and strategic advice;Researching and presenting material on any issue relevant;Providing mentoring and supervision to less experienced legal staff;Developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring legal team quality improvement processes and practices. To be successful in this role you will have: At least 3 years PQE for the Legal Advisor and at least 5 years PQE for the Senior Legal Advisor however all candidates would be considered on merit;A sound knowledge of public law generally and administrative law in particular;A passion for the public sector What sets this company apart: Our client is a well-respected Public Sector Entity based in Auckland.
