We are seeking a passionate, innovative Senior Leader (Deputy Principal) to help deliver the College's Charter, Vision and Strategic Plan. As a visionary leader, you will be passionate about academic and personal success.
As an experienced people leader, you are able to lead change in a way that is mana-enhancing and supports the well-being of staff, with the ability to drive professional development and monitor the implementation of Growth Conversations school-wide as a key portfolio.
The person we seek needs to have the ability to create, implement and lead systems and structures school-wide. Your attention to detail and an understanding of the impacts of decision-making on stakeholders are essential.
An understanding and experience in pastoral care is essential, alongside an understanding of PB4L and Restorative Practices Frameworks. This will assist in your leadership of a pastoral team, leading and overseeing the development of whanau culture and identity, with the ability to respond to tier two and three behaviours, which is a must.
Keen and available to be involved in our local community, you will assist in driving and attending specific community events that further build a positive school culture. We are seeking a person who can help to drive positive communications from the school to the community in their portfolio areas and has the confidence to work alongside our marketing team, the principal and the Board of Trustees to deliver key messages.
