About the Role:
Our Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist mining, energy, hydrogen, and renewable energy projects across the country. These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above-ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen and renewable energy facilities.
Due to our growth in future fuels projects, we are seeking a dynamic Senior/Lead Process Engineer to lead novel future fuels projects such as Hydrogen, bio-methane, and sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Brisbane office and support a talented team of specialised engineers.
Please note, this position is based in Brisbane, Australia. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate if they are making the move from interstate or overseas.
What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering with CEng/RPEQ accreditation.
Experience: Proven experience in delivering process engineering services within the local energy and resources industry. Future fuels experience is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry Codes & Standards, including API 520/521, AS 60079, and AS 2885.
Skills: Excellent analytical and technical report writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet conflicting deadlines.
Leadership: Ability to lead internal project teams to produce the desired project outcomes for our clients.
Client Commitment: A dedication to client satisfaction and quality of work.

Your Role: As a valued member of our team, you will:

Mentor and train junior engineers.
Provide RPEQ sign-off for process engineering deliverables.
Prepare and review engineering design documents.
Conduct tender estimations.
Represent process engineering in HAZOPs and LOPAs.
Engage in business development activities, including meetings and conferences if that is of interest.
