The role involves all aspects of providing the software used to deliver our global managed service, including analysis, design, build, and support.You will be working on a very technical, mission-critical solution that manages and monitors applications, operating systems, and cloud configurations. This is not your typical business application development role.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, maintain, and test software used to deliver our global managed service.Use your experience and specialist knowledge to mentor and upskill your colleagues across the team, division, and when appropriate across the organisation.Play a leading role when coding, testing, and installing applications, ensuring high-quality standards.Take a leading role in the architectural direction and design decisions.Use your knowledge and experience to contribute to technical direction.Use a strategic mindset to identify and implement technology trends that will support the future success of the business.Utilise clean coding, comments, and project documentation to demonstrate solutions.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for a talented Senior Developer with experience working in JADE. You will have:JADE expertise with a minimum of 5 years of Jade software development experience.The ability to learn new technologies quickly.An awesome approach to learning; you continually update your technical knowledge and skills.Willingness and desire to share your knowledge with your team and peers, providing guidance where needed.Excellent communication skills.The ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.Strong problem diagnosis and investigation skills.Experience in maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.For this role, it would be advantageous to have:Relevant/ongoing studies in appropriate IT certifications.Relevant AWS or Azure Certifications.Experience developing cloud-based solutions.Experience with Microsoft Stack.Knowledge of software development processes and practices, e.g., Kanban and Agile methodologies.If you are excited about this role and believe you can bring your skills to exceed at Jade, then we encourage you to apply.
