The Electoral Commission is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to joinour Information Technology team.
You will be part of a great, supportive, and fun team - leading technology projects across the organisation and contributing to both the successful delivery of electoral events and improving our operating environment.
You'll also work as a key member of the IT leadership team to grow and develop our capabilities and create a fulfilling work environment.

It will challenge you in how we establish and deliver technology services to over 65 electoral headquarters and support the ~25,000 staff needed to execute a general election as part of the General Election Programme.

Brings significant experience in successfully managing several large and complex projects as part of a wider delivery programme preferably within the public sector of New Zealand.
Has proven leadership, communication, and liaison skills with proven ability in relationship management and working with senior stakeholders.
Are effective in resource management, scheduling and prioritisation of work items for teams and suppliers.
Has demonstrated experience in an MSP, PRINCE 2, Scaled Agile or similar PPM environments with relevant qualifications Summary of Key responsibilities Ensure assigned projects are delivered according to time, cost and quality standards or goals Monitor and maintains financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit.
Plan and drive scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.
Acts as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
Provide guidance and raise awareness to help change leaders demonstrate effective behaviours to deliver organisational change.
Supporting the development of business cases for projects to enable decisions to be made on whether to proceed.
