West Recruitment is partnering with an Australian owned MSP that is a Cloud, Network and Security technologies specialist. This company employs over 200 staff across multiple offices on the East coast of Australia and works with some of Australia's high profile companies and government departments.
About your new role
Reporting to the Solutions Delivery Manager, the Senior IT Engineer will primarily work on project delivery (80% of your week), in addition to handling technical escalations for your customers (20%).
Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include:
Engage with Project Managers and other technical staff to develop bespoke solutions in project delivery.Build and maintain effective working relationships with the customer throughout the project delivery cycle.Develop detailed documentation on Systems, policies and process.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
About You
The successful candidate for this position will view themselves as a true 'techie' who has a passion for working with the latest technologies- especially Microsoft products!
Other key attributes you will possess include:
Expert level knowledge of MS Azure products, including Virtual desktop & IaaS.Highly proficient with Sharepoint, Intune, Defender & MFA.Can bring hands on experience delivering Office 365 projects including email migrations.The ideal candidate will have experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar IT company.
Interpersonally, you are a strong communicator who enjoys working on delivering projects and helping your customers meet their objectives. You will possess a 'Can Do' attitude and thrive in a team environment.
