We are local at heart, yet world-class in capability.About the RoleThe Senior iOS Developer role is responsible for the core coded business logic for the developed application or platform. They should be intimately familiar with the languages and design patterns used in the application and strive to deliver code that is well structured and maintainable.It is their job to understand the business requirements for a feature or component of the application or platform and deliver the code to fulfil those requirements. The developer will be responsible for working with the relevant domain team members to ensure that all solutions are developed/coded and configured (including reporting) to ensure that the solution achieves the intended business requirements. We are looking for someone who is not only technically strong but also excels in communication, leadership, and collaboration.What you'll bringExtensive experience with developing mobile apps within agile teamsProven product development skills and experience in iOS developmentIdeally, have built mobile apps in Swift for past 5+ yearsExperience building and maintaining apps with a large userbaseExperience building reusable and testable codeExperience writing unit and UI testsExperience with modularization is an added advantageExperience using CI/CD practices and toolingFamiliar with app deployment using App Store Connect, Test Flight and App CenterGood business experience and knowledge across several industries to help reshape parts of the business and deliver agreed outcomesExcellent communication skills, with a strong focus on helping create collaborative and productive teamsGood conceptual and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and pick up new technologiesResponsibilitiesDevelop code in a clear and maintainable way with a focus on ease of use & performanceBe familiar with development frameworks and good practicesUse established and common design patternsWork with the delivery team to design and deliver customer outcomesWork with QA team to design and run functional testsWork with the Business Analyst to resolve gaps or ambiguities in the functional requirements and designWhy join us here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
